Breaffy go looking for All Ireland glory

GAA: Rounders

On Sunday afternoon, the Breaffy senior ladies rounders team will go looking to make history and claim their first ever senior All Ireland title.

The 2020 final which was scuppered last year between Breaffy and Glynn Barntown from Wexford has been rearranged and will go to bat on Sunday at 1.30pm in the GAA National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown in Dublin.

They beat Adamstown in the All Ireland semi-final last September, with the final scheduled to have originally taken place last October, only for Covid-19 to see the game postponed until this weekend.

Breaffy were beaten in the semi-final three years in a row, before getting over Adamstown last year and will be looking to take the crown off the defending champions from Wexford when they meet on Sunday.
