JCI Mayo invites you to join them for their latest online event this evening Tuesday, June 8 where self-empowerment advocate, Sara Hauber, will look at determining your values, priorities, and boundaries so you can be happier and more engaged in work and in life.
You want to make other people happy. When you have a special skill or area of expertise, you want to share it with whomever asks for help. But what happens when you are already so busy you can't easily accommodate another request? How do you deal with feelings of obligation to others when your own needs are not being adequately met?
In this one-hour interactive workshop, the facilitator Sara Hauber will walk you through 3 clear steps for: Identifying the values and priorities around which you want to organize your life; Determining how to set boundaries to protect those values and priorities; and Communicating your boundaries to others in an effective way.
Sara began her first business at the age of 26, when her father died. She realized life was too short to spend hers working at a job that was not fulfilling. She reprioritized and immediately chose to "work to live" rather than "live to work", and she has created her own journey ever since. Sara believes that anyone can experience "the good life" when they take the time to identify their needs and values and make small changes to prioritize their own wellbeing.
The absolute best way to be fully engaged in your life and work is to know what you personally need to feel happy and fulfilled. This workshop is your first step.
This online workshop will begin at 7.30pm on Tuesday, June 8, for an hour and will be delivered via Zoom. Tickets are €10 and registration is essential on Eventbrite. The link to get tickets is on all JCI Mayo social platforms and directly here: https://linktr.ee/jcimayo
