Michael Ring TD, has welcomed confirmation that Newport National School has received approval to proceed to tender for 2x 80m² Classroom including en-suite toilets & 1x 10.5m2 WC for assisted users and conversion of mainstream classroom into ASD room. Newport National School have been approved this additional accommodation for their school under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme from the Department of Education.
Deputy Michael Ring stated: "I am pleased to learn that Newport National School have been sanctioned approval to proceed to tender for this additional accommodation. It will greatly enhance the facilities at the school. It is excellent to see progress being made with this approval".
