A new Shopfront Grant Scheme is now available to businesses across the Castlebar Municipal district. This scheme has been launched further to a proposal by Councillor Donna Sheridan at the March meeting of the Castlebar Municipal District, who welcomed the launch, saying: "I am delighted that the scheme is now in operation, businesses can apply for grant funding of up to 50% of approved works to a maximum of €1,000. With many shops reopening last week, it is vital we do everything we can to support local businesses. This scheme is available to businesses in Belcarra, Balla, Breaffy, Ballyvary, Castlebar, Turlough and Lahardaun." For further information log on to https://tinyurl.com/4h2wjeze.
