Fine Gael Cllr Donna Sheridan has asked for a full report from the digital transformation team of Mayo County Council and the local authorities IT department, on why council meetings are not being streamed online for the public to watch easily. Cllr Sheridan had at the January meeting of the Castlebar Municipal District asked for the meetings to be streamed, which was backed by other councillors, and expressed her disappointment that it was not in place for the February meeting.
