Mayo Women’s Support Services (MWSS ) is the front-line dedicated service in the county offering a range of supports to women and children experiencing domestic abuse and coercive control.
Level 5 restrictions impact on peoples mental health. MWSS is available now more than ever. We believe that many women continue to live with intolerable control and abuse during level 5 restrictions. It is important that they know that we are here and that we can support them to be safe in their own homes and help them to access the relevant services to keep themselves and their children safe
We are offering ongoing support to current and new service users remotely by phone. If you need to speak to a worker, please phone us, we are here to listen and support you.
