Local heart charity Croí, in partnership with HSE West Mayo PCCC will host a Healthy Heart Day in Claremorris on Friday May 15, at the Claremorris Family Resource Centre, James Street from 9.30am to 4pm.
The free checkup is available to everyone over 40 years of age who have not attended their GP in the last year for a cholesterol check. To book your place, contact Nuala Gilligan on 094 937 7838 before 3pm on Tuesday May 12.
