Michael Ring, T.D. has today welcomed the funding of €160,628 announced for Mayo Enterprise Centres under Enterprise Ireland’s Enterprise Centres Fund.
The Mayo centres allocated funding are as follows: (1 ) Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology Innovation Hub Mayo €75,828; (2 ) IRD North Mayo – West Sligo (t/a Moy Valley Resources ) €10,200 and (3 ) Westport Multi Agency Enterprise CLG TA Leeson Enterprise Centre €74,600.
Enterprise Centre provide spaced and training for entrepreneurs, allowing them to work remotely, access training and advice and network with other business leaders.
"This funding is vital to allow the centres to continue to offer services to local businesses in what has been a difficult time. It will help the centres to implement a recovery plan for businesses within their remit over the coming months," concluded Deputy Ring.
