The elected members of the Westport-Belmullet Municipal District have given their approval for repair works to be carried out at a sea wall at Bundola in Erris.
Fine Gael Cllr Gerry Coyle said that he welcomed the decision, he noted that some people wanted the wall to be higher and others to be lower, but the important thing was the work was going to be done and the wall would be repaired. Fianna Fáil Cllr Sean Carey also welcomed the works, saying: "It's great to see progress being made on it."
