A man from Achill who was observed overtaking vehicles on a continuous white line was convicted and fined by Judge Mary Devins at Ballinrobe District Court on Friday.
Garda Patrick Gallagher was on duty in a marked patrol car on Saturday October 11 2008 in Ballinrobe, where he observed Brendan O’Malley, Pollagh, Achill, driving in the oncoming direction and overtaking on a continuous white line.
O’Malley, who has no previous convictions, was convicted and fined €150.
