Claremorris Town Hall Theatre Presents: Absolute 80s Performed by the Mayo Concert Orchestra, Afterparty with DJ Ed Smith (Today FM ).
On Friday, March 6, 2020, Mayo Concert Orchestra will take to the stage once again, this time it’s an all 80s music event. The 30-piece Live Orchestra will play under the baton of Kathy Fahey, a 90 minute selection of great 1980s hits – to include hits by Dexys Midnight Runners, A-ha, Blondie, Queen, Boy George, Simple Minds and many more.
Vocalists for the night are Cathal McHale, Elaine McEvilly, Emma Jane McHale, Mark Norton and Peter Fahey.
Dancing is optional - there is lots of tiered seating for people who would like to sit back and enjoy the show.
And if that’s not enough, Ed Smith of Today FM will continue the party wearing his DJ hat, playing even more 80s music so the performers can join in the fun with the audience.
