Feile Catering bringing something new to the market

Tasty food that comes with years of experience

Gordan Kay and Javier Serantes are delighted to bring to you their new catering company, Feile Catering, which operates from a HSE approved commercial kitchen in Carnacon.

Feile Catering may be new, but Javier and Gordon bring a wealth of 35 years combined experience in catering and hospitality to your special gathering or event.

Javier has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 25 years in Madrid, Mayfair in London and for the last 10 years as head chef in Cafe Rua in Castlebar. Gordon has worked at various local restaurants as a chef and having qualified as a Butler from the British Butler Institute, London, has been engaged in hospitality in recent years.

They both live and have settled in the Castlebar area for over 10 years and are excited at the prospect of starting their new venture in the beautiful Mayo countryside, where they will aim to use fresh, local and seasonal produce whenever possible and bring something a little different to your table.

Their wide-ranging sample menu includes great salad dishes like: Organic beetroot, toasted walnut and pickled onion; Spiced cauliflower with vinaigrette; Caesar salad with Cuinneog buttermilk dressing as well as tempting hot pots such as: Local Irish Lamb and sweet potatoes tagine and Melt in your mouth Irish Beef Bourguignon. Feile Catering also provide tasty finger foods including: Croquettes; Arancini; Falafel and various Canapes and produce their own breads and desserts with a great selection including: Soda bread; Flatbread - Pizza; Corn bread; Apple/ fruit pies; Scones and Brownies while their Celebration cakes are made by the wonderful Ana at Tia, Louisburgh.

Feile Catering will be more than happy to consult with you in producing your own menu - tailored to fit your own tastes and requirements. All food can be delivered to your event at your chosen time. They are very much looking forward to bringing you many years of experience and something new to your event.
