Drive 4 Jenna Lip Sync is a fundraising event to raise enough funds to purchase a specially adapted vehicle for Jenna Fitzgerald.
Jenna is a local girl from Enniscrone, who in her 20’s was left paralysed and found her life irreversibly changed after an accident in a pool in Spain in 2014.
For anyone to find themselves in such a situation as this takes unthinkable strength to face. With that Jenna has had her ups and downs, and has battled continuously to get as much of her independence back as possible.
Last November on The Ryan Tubridy Show, Jenna revealed her next goal she wishes to achieve - That is to get back driving. Before her accident Jenna drove for 10 years. To get back driving again will give her back another level of independence and will be a huge step in her recovery.
In order to do so she needs to purchase a vehicle that will be specially modified to meet her needs. The adapted Vehicle will cost €60,000.
On Sunday, October 27 at 8pm there will be a Lip sync event in the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone for Drive 4 Jenna where16 acts will be taking part on the night.
Introducing the wide and surprising array of musical taste and talent to stage will be Paul Burke as the MC for the night who alongside the mystery judges will make this a great nights entertainment and all for a worthy cause. The Lip Sync will be followed by a disco & DJ afterwards in the Diamond Coast Hotel. Please note the event is Ticket only and is strictly over 18’s.
