Michael Ring, T.D., Minister for Rural and Community Development has welcomed the announcement that St. Joseph’s Secondary School in Foxford, has been approved funds under the Additional Accommodation Scheme.
The accommodation approved includes:- (1 ) 3x 58.6m2 General classrooms, (2 ) 2x 15m2 SET rooms, (3 ) 2x 88.6m2 Science labs, (4 ) 1x 38.5m2 Science Prep area, (5 ) 1x 148.8m2 Engineering room, (6 ) 1x 148.8m2 Construction Studies room, (6 ) 1x 58.6m2 Construction Prep area and Ancillary.
Welcoming the announcment Minister Ring said: "I am pleased to see the significant amount of additional accommodation that has been sanctioned for St. Joseph’s Secondary School. I am sure that the teachers and students will benefit from the works being carried out and I look forward to the works in this school being completed in the coming months."
