MASA to host Staying Alive Mayo social and information evening

Mayo Addiction and Suicide Awareness (MASA ) is to host an information and social event in the Ivy Tower Hotel in Castlebar on Friday, August 16.

The event will get underway at 7pm with registration and a cheese and beverage tasting, then from 8pm a night of information and entertainment will kick off.

MAASA is a non-profit organisation based on Richard Street, Castlebar, and is devoted to providing help and support for families and communities around Mayo affected by suicide or addiction.

With MCs Henry McGlade and Dermott Langan, the event will be televised on iMayoTV and will feature a great line-up of well-known Mayo performers, singers, musicians, couture, short interactive living life well session and life coach session and a send-off of special guest, the 2019 Mayo Rose.

Top door and table prizes up for grabs include a weekend for two at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel, dinner for two at the Lodge at Ashford Castle and many more.

Tickets cost €20 and all proceeds will go towards the refurbishment of MASA's second floor premises. The event will be followed by an after-party with live music and a disco.
