All roads lead east out of Mayo tomorrow as not one or two but three Mayo football teams have make-or-break championship games.
The big game will see Mayo take on a Dublin side who are looking to win their fifth All Ireland Senior Football Championship in a row in the All Ireland semi-final at 5pm in Croke Park. At 3pm in the same venue, the Mayo minors are looking to book the county's first appearance in an All Ireland final in this grade since 2014 - and the first since the Minor age-limit was reduced to under 17 - when they take on Cork.
Before the action gets underway in Croke Park - at Pearse Park in Longford at 1pm the Mayo Ladies Senior side are in action in the All Ireland quarter-final, where they will face off against Armagh for a place in the last four.
The build up to the big game in Croke Park all week has been dominated by the rush for tickets - when tickets went on general sale on Tuesday there were huge queues in both Super Valu and Centra stores across Mayo and large swathes of people were left frustrated when they were unable to purchase tickets - as systems came under serious pressure due to the demand. There were similar stories from people who tired to purchase tickets online and were in virtual queues for hours and ended up without tickets.
On Wednesday morning the queues started again when more tickets went on general sale, which sold out before lunch time, with the GAA saying that the remainder of tickets were with county boards for distribution to their clubs and if any additional tickets became available they would be released at a later date.
Ahead of the game between Mayo and Dublin in the senior championship Mayo were dealt a serious blow to their chances, when Jason Doherty was ruled out for the rest of the season after picking up an anterior cruciate ligament injury in their win over Donegal last weekend.
For those that can't make it to the games - both the ladies and minor games will be broadcast on television by TG4 and the senior game on both RTÉ and Sky Sports, while their will also be full coverage of all three games on Mid West Radio - with the senior game also on RTÉ radio.
