It's back to the home front for Mayo tomorrow night when they welcome Roscommon to MacHale Park in the semi-final of the Connacht Senior Football Championship.
Both sides have one championship game under their belts so far, Mayo predictably dispatching New York with ease and Roscommon putting a pin in Leitrim's balloon in style a fortnight ago in Hyde Park.
The Rossies' will be coming to town tomorrow night confident that they can take Mayo down and James Horan is well aware of that, saying in the build up to the game: "You could just look back at the game against us, they were unlucky on the night, it could have happened on Tyrone, they had that game and a bit of indiscipline cost them.
"But you know now what you are going to get out of Roscommon, they are going to be really fired up coming to MacHale Park. They are a tough rugged robust physical team, their conditioning has improved, you saw that against Leitrim - they ran through them in the middle of the field coming from the half back line in particular and they are very focused under Anthony Cunningham, who is a passionate manager and will bring those players right to the top level of their performance. There is no question it is going to be a very tough game."
Mayo haven't won a Connacht title since 2015 and that is something that supporters want to see ended this year and it is something Horan wants to deliver to the county. "I think every team in the country, if you asked, they would like to win a provincial title, absolutely, is going to be the answer, every single one bar none, would bite your hand off and obviously winning a provincial title puts you in a very strong position for the super eights, so everyone is looking for that and anyone who tells you different is hiding something.
"We would love to of course but we are nowhere near that and throughout the league and everything we have done this year, is to be as strong as we can on the day that we are in and at the time that we are in. At the end of the day we have a Connacht semi-final if we win, we have a chance at a Connacht title and that would be great - but we have a very determined team coming to play us and that is where all our focus and attention is and it has to be there."
