Adults and children alike will be treated to an incredible outdoor theatrical line-up at Westport House this summer with two shows, Gangsta Granny, July 18, and Wuthering Heights, July 20, taking place at 7pm on both nights.
Heartbreak Productions will perform both shows at Westport House (in front of the majestic house ); David Walliams’ “Gangsta Granny” – is a story exploring the power of friendship, love and what really happens behind closed doors. Join Ben’s journey through his Friday nights as every possible manifestation of cabbage is served up by his caring (and unpredictable ) Granny. Suitable for 7 – 77, an evening of fun and interaction delivered in the inimitable Heartbreak style is promised.
For a more grown-up audience, the second show, Wuthering Heights, is an adaptation of Emily Bront?’s haunting tale of two restless souls as wild and untamed as the bleak Yorkshire moors. Pack a chair or blanket, a picnic, and dress for the weather, and enjoy a ghostly tale of wandering spirits and reckless love affairs. Suitable for 10 years +.
The duration of the shows is approximately two hours with 15 minutes of entertainment plus a quarter hour interval for the adult shows and two hours inclusive of interval for the family plays.
