Local hairdressing salon wins again

Ballina based salon allure Hairdressing has once again enjoyed immense success in the Irish Hairdressing championships in Dublin with its highly trained team sweeping the boards in a number of categories.

Following on past success, this talented team of hairdressers have continued in their winning ways.

With national and international achievements already to her name Louise Garrett extended last year’s success (where Louise was awarded Irish Trainee Hairdresser of the Year 2008 ) to achieving Senior Irish Up-Stylist of the Year 2009, as well as second place in the Bridal Category, and fifth place in Long Hair Down at this year’s championships.

It takes enormous team effort, commitment, and months of preparation to compete in such a prestigious competition. All the team at allure did themselves and Ballina proud by entering so many categories successfully: Amanda Ryan in Junior Upstyle; Lisa Garrett in Junior Blowdry; Brid McAllister in Junior Cut; and Sandra O’Dowd represented allure.

Of course this show would never happen if not for the very willing models whose patience and dedication helped the stylists achieve their success. All the team at allure would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the models for their assistance and perseverance.
