There was a compliance rate of 96.2 per cent for the payment of the Local Property Tax (LPT ) in Mayo last year.
The Revenue Commissioners released their preliminary statistics for 2018 this morning (Monday, January 7 ) and according to their figures 59,600 homes in Mayo paid the LPT with €10.4 million collected from the tax in the county.
Mayo's compliance rate was very much in line with national figures with the overall compliance rate coming in at 97 per cent for the country.
