Domino’s delivers new jobs to Castlebar

Domino’s Pizza has arrived in Castlebar with the creation of 25 full- and part-time jobs for local people and a much needed boost for the area. Franchisee John McManus is on the hunt for trainee managers, pizza makers, customer service representatives, and delivery experts.

In light of the recent building surge and population increase in Castlebar, the latest Domino’s Pizza branch is a welcome amenity to the area according to McManus who said: “I would like to employ people who live in the community that we’ll be serving. First and foremost, I’ll be looking for people who can deliver great customer service and demonstrate strong teamwork skills, as well as boundless enthusiasm. It’s also vital to be able to maintain a sense of fun while working under pressure.”

At induction, as well as throughout their career, Domino’s offers its employees full training, ranging from dough management and food hygiene for pizza makers through to road safety for pizza delivery experts.

Domino’s is Ireland’s leading player in the fast-growing pizza delivery market, with 39 stores nationwide and more than 600 employees. Domino’s only recruits from the local area and through excellent community relations aims to deliver more than just great tasting pizza.

The new store opens on April 13 and is located at Unit 1, Spenser Street, Castlebar.
