Environ skin care, vitamins and makeup are provided in the salon with take home products available also. Mary Mulroy, the owner of this clinic, explains the importance of having not just skincare products but a whole trio of skin focused products.
"Not a lot of people know that vitamins are 70 per cent of improving skin’s appearance. Also, even after using Environ’s skincare products, your skin can be damaged again by wearing rubbish makeup", says Mary.
Environ products support many different types of skin issues including acne, rosacea, eczema and general skin health. The vitamins offer omegas, vitamin A and so much more to improve every aspect of skin.
Mary recalls the story of a man who had severe acne rosacea as he worked outside. Several clinics and doctors attempted to help him with his skin condition but it was Mary and her team that found his ticket to improved skin.
"He went everywhere and we got him back. Now his face and skin are a part of research for acne and rosacea studies", she said.
The salon sells starter boxes of Environ for all those interested in trying out the product.
Aside from skincare, Mulroy’s Beauty Clinic offers reflexology with team member Maggie, four days a week and also provides professional nails and pedicures, threading, microdermabrasion facials and tan.
Another key aspect for the salon is waxing. As Mary uses Lycon wax for her clients, this product has the ability to lessen hair growth so the treatment lasts longer.
For a more permanent solution to hair growth, Mulroy's Beauty Clilnic offers medical grade hair removal by Candela.
"This is the better time of year to get laser hair removal as it can take six to nine months with one or two top-ups if you want it by summer. This works best the darker hair you have", Mary explains.
Mary has nine women working in the clinic at this time and tells how she’d be ‘lost without them' and how beloved they are by customers who come into the clinic.
"The team are great, they are hardworking and friendly which is so important. But it’s not all serious either, we have fun together!"
