A charity concert in aid of the RNLI and St Thomas' Church, Dugort, Achill, will take place on Sunday, 14th October at 3pm in the church.
Following the success of last year's concert at the same venue, Achill based artists and musicians Padraig McCaul(Alto Saxophone ) and Alexandra Van Tuyll (Piano ), return to St Thomas' with another programme of beautiful music, from Arvo Part to Vivaldi to Piazzolla.
The duo will be joined by friends old and new, including VoxFusion, the acclaimed Castlebar based choir, under the direction of Kathy Fahey, which returns with Soprano soloist Ausra Kvietkute; while violinist Zane Kazotniece will be making her first visit to St Thomas'.
With a special guest appearance by the Achill Wind Quartet, this promises to be a magical afternoon of music, all set within the beautiful surrounds and acoustics of St Thomas' Church.
Admission is free and donations will be gratefully accepted at the door.
