Get the best start for your dog at Puppy School

Puppy School was founded several years ago in the UK by internationally renowned dog trainer, behaviourist, and best selling author Gwen Bailey to cater for the ever growing demand for well behaved sociable dogs. Puppy School now has trainers throughout the UK and Europe.

Local tutor, professionally qualified dog trainer Margaret Turner MBIPDT, MIACE, was one of the original Puppy School tutors and has been training companion dogs for more than 10 years. Based in Ballyglass, Turner runs classes in Claremorris and Westport.

Puppy School will provide your puppy with the best start in life ensuring that your pet dogs are well behaved, have good manners, and are friendly to people and other dogs.

Puppies are taken from 12 to 20 weeks and taught basic obedience, socialisation, and general good manners. The methods used are kind, reward based, exercises making it fun for all members of the family. Classes run for six weeks for one hour a week with homework sheets provided to complement the exercises practised in the classes.

Turner caters for puppies more than 20 weeks and older dogs in separate classes or on a one to one basis.
