Local business networking group scoops regional award

The Woodlands BNI group, which is made up of 15 business people from Kiltimagh and surrounding areas who work together to build the local economy (and meet locally every Wednesday morning in the Kiltimagh Park Hotel ) was recently the recipient of the regional Pride of BNI Award.

To achieve this, BNI Woodlands Kiltimagh had to beat off stiff competition from other network chapters within the Ireland west region. After having been judged on several different categories to be the stand out chapter of the region, BNI Hibernia moved into the All-Ireland competition to represent the Ireland West region against chapters from the other 6 regions in Ireland but were narrowly beaten to the All-Ireland title.

This recognition for the Kiltimagh group reflects the members great dedication and commitment to BNI and to helping each other increase business while helping to boost the local economy for all.

Declan Halligan, director consultant for the chapter said: “I would like to acknowledge and congratulate each and every member of BNI Woodlands on winning this award as every member is an integral part of the group and only through working together continually were they able to achieve this.

"I would also like to wish the BNI Woodlands chapter continued success and if any business people are interested to find out more about BNI and how it could benefit them they can attend to a meeting as a guest. Please visit www.bniirelandmidwest.ie to find out more.”
