A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Transformation ) is an evening of conversation and literature taking place at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar on Thursday, June 14.
Exploring transformations in literature and life, the event features award-winning writer Sara Baume (Spill Simmer Falter Wither, A Line Made by Walking ), three specially commissioned short films by award-winning multidisciplinary artist, actor, and broadcaster Sorcha Kenny and fresh from their sell-out concert for the St. Patrick’s Festival in Dublin, music group The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock, whose latest record, about the 1913 Lockout has gained huge acclaim. Arranged by Siobhán Kane in association with Words Ireland for the Linenhall, the event takes place at the Linenhall Arts Centre on Thursday, June 14 at 8pm.
