The newly refurbished Vincent’s Charity shop Athlone is hosting its first Open Mic Night on Wednesday, March 28 from 6pm to 8pm.
The night is taking place in the charity’s new premises on Church Street. Since its official launch in April of 2017, the charity store has become an asset to the local community hosting knitting clubs, study groups and language meet ups. It should also be noted that it is the first charity shop in Ireland to have a relaxing, open space.
The open mic night will help further finance the charity in its fight against poverty and socio-economic issues. The event is free but all donations are welcome throughout the evening.
With a relaxed atmosphere and helpful volunteers this is promised to be a night of comedy, entertainment and music for all.
