Peugeot 3008 or “Le Crossover” breaks cover

The 3008 is a compact and spacious vehicle, which Peugeot says represents a totally new offering in the car market. It adds that it is aimed at sport-loving couples, modern families, senior citizens and active young people, who desire a type of car, which does not fall into the existing categories of hatchback or MPV.

The 3008 will introduce new technology such as grip control, dynamic roll control, a heads-up display, distance alert, automatic electric parking brake, etc…all which will further contribute to driving enjoyment and safety.

The Peugeot 3008 will compete against models such as the Nissan Qashqai, Renault Koleos, Ford Kuga and Volkswagen Tiguan. Peugeot points out that the 3008 also respects the environment with an efficient range of engine options, one of which produces a mere 130g of CO2 per kilometre, the lowest in class, placing it in the band B tax category with road tax of only €156.
