Athlone Gardaí are investigating a burglary that took place at a jewellery shop in Golden Island Shopping Centre last weekend.
The burglary is believed to have occurred between 9pm on Friday night and 2am on Saturday morning.
A number of intruders entered the building via the roof and are believed to have made off with up to €250,000 of merchandise.
Gardaí are looking for any information the public might have in relation to a silver coloured car parked on the Golden Island road during the aforementioned hours.
Anyone who noticed a silver coloured car during the indicated time is asked to contact Gardaí.
