The Athlone Advertiser in association with Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone is giving away three pairs of tickets for The Father Ted Experience - the ultimate night out for fans of the hit show this Christmas - on Wednesday, December 27.
The show features stand-up comedians Joe Rooney, who played Father Damo in the original TV show, and Patrick McDonnell, who played Eoin McLove. Both will have the audience in stitches of laughter from the very start of the night.
There will be live music on the night from The Afters who, dressed as priests, play the music and hits which featured in the TV show throughout the years. These include classics like "My Lovely Horse", "Ghost Town" and "My Lovely Mayo Mammy". They will also play some unholy party hits. The audience is encouraged to participate and can attend in Father Ted fancy dress if desired.
To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets, answer the following question and send your entry to the Athlone Advertiser, 98A Sean Costello Street, Athlone: Comedian Joe Rooney starred in the TV show Father Ted as ‘Father Damo’ - true or false? Alternatively, text your answer to (086 ) 8276416 with your full name.
Entries are being accepted up to Thursday, December 21 and the winners will be notified on Friday, December 22.
Tickets for the show are also available from the Radisson Hotel and online at Ticketstop.ie
