For one day only, on Thursday March 19, McGorisks Pharmacy, Athlone will be hosting a Diabetes Day.
A registered nurse will be on hand at the pharmacy between 10am and 4pm to offer assistance to diabetics and anyone seeking advice on any aspect of the condition.
There will be advice on the importance of diet, and on how to monitor blood glucose levels. Glucose meters will also be replaced for free on the day.
If you are a diabetic, borderline diabetic, or are concerned as you have a history of diabetes in your family, help is available at McGorisks. All are welcome.
