Fiat Professional, the commercial vehicle arm of Fiat Group in Ireland recently announced details of its groundbreaking “Double Your VAT Back” consumer offer for light commercial vehicle buyers. Acknowledging the current economic challenges that businesses are facing, Fiat Professional has launched what it describes as a genuine and tangible offer. Fit says that simply put, it will enable the purchaser of any Fiat van to double their VAT back. This short-term offer will run until the end of this month (31 March ).
This means that if you are a VAT registered business you are entitled to claim back the VAT at 21.5 per cent from the Government on a new van purchase, Fiat Professional will match the refund made by the Government doubling the amount of money the customer receives.
Fiat say that even if the customer is not VAT registered they can avail of a refund equivalent to VAT amount on the vehicle. Following purchase of the van, Fiat say that the customer will receive a cheque with the VAT amount from it within 30 days.
Fiat claims that the offer is further strengthened by the fact that the customer also avails of an exceptional offer price of the vehicle in their dealer showrooms.

Our “Double Your VAT Back” offer provides a real cost benefit to the customer who can choose any van from our award-winning range of light commercial vehicles.’’
