The Tony Parker Foundation has donated a new defibrillator to Coosan Community Development Group.
The defibrillator is located on the wall outside the Lough Ree Inn and will be of huge benefit to the local community.
Coosan Community Development Group has expressed its thanks to the foundation. The group gave special mention to Geraldine Farrell and Rory Quinn for their invaluable support, and look forward to working with them again in the very near future to furnish the Hillquarter area with another defibrillator.
Local Independent councillor, Ailish Mc Manus said: “These are vital pieces of equipment. Having access to them can mean the difference between life and death so, as far as I’m concerned, the more places that can accommodate them the better.”
The Tony Parker Foundation is holding its annual table quiz in Dan’s Tavern on Friday, October 27 at 8pm. All support will be greatly appreciated.
