Volkswagen has released details of its 181 campaign, which includes technology upgrades across the range, low-rate finance, and purchase contributions of up to €2,000 on cars financed through Volkswagen Bank only.
For customers who wish to scrap their EU 1-4 emissions standard diesel car, from any manufacturer, an EcoGrant of up to €5,000 is available, and is combined with a special finance and technology upgrades.
For customers who do not have an EU 1-4 emissions standard diesel car, Volkswagen Ireland says that it has created a special 181 offer consisting of purchase contributions of up to €2,000 and 0.9 per cent APR PCP finance on new retail sales ordered between October 2 and December 31. It also includes a technology upgrades. So, regardless of the case, there is a 181 offer from Volkswagen to suit everyone.
The German car maker says that all customers can avail of the very latest features the brand has to offer with the technology upgrades. It adds that these packs group some of the most desirable technology features for a special bundled price, such as ‘Discover Media SatNav’, the ‘Driver Alert System’ and ‘Adaptive Cruise Control’. It claims that these tech upgrades can offer savings of up to €4,500 and allow customers to experience the future of driving today.
There are a total of three new models coming to the Volkswagen range in time for 181, with the new Polo, new Tiguan Allspace and new T-Roc arriving just before Christmas. The new T-Roc is Volkswagen’s first crossover SUV and enters the market with an recommended retail price of €24,750. The new T-Roc and new Polo will also be available to view in Volkswagen showrooms at the end of October.
This brings the total number of new model launches in 2017 to five when the new Golf and new Arteon models, launched earlier this year, are included.
