Moate Library sparkles with a sprinkling of fairy dust

There is a little bit of magic in Moate Library at the moment as a family of fairies has taken up residence in the exhibition room.

Drop in and see who you can spot peeping out from Rosebud cottage or from the Seashell house.

The current fairy exhibition is part of a larger garden which was recently in Athlone Library. The garden was created by the Irish Wheelchair Association Art Group (Athlone ) in collaboration with Paula Sharkey, art tutor with the Longford Westmeath ETB. It is a tribute to the imagination and creativity of all involved that they have created such a delightful set of homes for the fairies to move into.

The fairy garden will be available to visit up to August 2 during library opening hours. Take advantage of this opportunity to share in the magic and maybe even write a wish for fairies.

Visit www.westmeathcoco.ie/library for details of opening hours or call (090 ) 6481888.
