GAA action and cracking bands at The Snug Bar

If you are looking for a cosy and welcoming environment, the very best of local musical talent, and live sports coverage, then pull up a stool in The Snug Bar this weekend.

The weekend’s musical entertainment kicks off on Thursday, June 29, when Mark Hickey takes to the stage. With influences like Ed Sheeran, Passenger, and Jake Bugg, Mark will provide knee-hopping tunes to get you in the mood from 9.30pm.

On Friday, June 30, it is the turn of duo Shane and Jay from 10pm.

On Saturday, July 1, Stereo Bytes are on hand with live music from 10pm. A three-piece band from the west of Ireland formed in 2004, Stereo Bytes are accomplished musicians who play a variety of genres from rock and popular rock to reggae to country, meaning there is truly something on offer to keep everyone happy.

On Sunday, July 2, GAA action returns from 2pm, with Kerry taking on Cork in the Munster Senior Football Championship final and Wexford taking on Galway in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship final from 4pm.

Double D will provide the music on Sunday night. A two-piece band, Double D play a variety of music from new chart hits to the old classics that everyone loves. And Snug favourites No Bodder round off the weekend’s entertainment from 9pm. Hailing from Tullamore, No Bodder aim to bring both great music and a bit of craic to every set they play.

With two beer gardens, live music and sport, and a wide range of premium gins and Irish whiskeys, The Snug Bar is the ideal venue to relax and have a good time in this weekend. A free function area is also available for private party bookings.
