‘Prom to the Paddock’ luncheon returns to Salthill Hotel Galway

Fashionistas - get racing ready as Salthill Hotel hosts a style and dine luncheon on Monday, July 31, to kick-start the 2017 Galway Races Festival, all in aid of Enable Ireland.

The glamorous afternoon begins at 12 noon with a Prosecco reception as guests gather for a delicious four-course meal. During lunch, keep your race cards at the ready, as TV racing pundits Tracy Piggott and Tom Lee will share their expert advice on finding a winner at the opening day of the Galway Races.

A glamourous fashion show will take place with the most exclusive looks and must-have pieces for the races and summer season, and Michael Mullins Millinery will exhibit some head-turning hats. The event will be compered by style guru Fiona Faherty and TV3 showbiz correspondent Noel Cunningham.

Don the glad rags and dress to impress, with prizes for Best Dressed Lady and Most Stylish Gentleman sponsored by Hartmanns of Galway up for grabs on the day.

With live entertainment, impressive giveaways, and plenty of familiar faces, ‘Prom to the Paddock’ promises a delightful afternoon of entertainment before a private coach takes guests to Ballybrit for an evening of exhilarating racing.

Glamour meets goodwill as all monies raised from the event will go towards the work of Enable Ireland, a non-profit organisation that provides free support services to children with physical disabilities and developmental difficulties in Galway city and county.

This event is the perfect excuse to catch up with family, friends, or work colleagues. Tickets cost €65 and include drinks reception, a four-course lunch with wine, coach transfer, and entry to the race course.
