World-class show jumping at Ballinasloe Showgrounds

Ballinasloe Horse and Agricultural Show will host a three-day programme of show jumping in Ballinasloe Showgrounds from Friday to Sunday, May 26 to 28, including the prestigious New Heights Champions Series.

The New Heights Champions Series, a joint venture between Show Jumping Ireland and Horse Sport Ireland, replaces the Premier Series which had been the pinnacle of National Show Jumping in Ireland for the past 10 years. The series boasts an overall prize fund of more than €110,000 and will take place at 10 locations across the four provinces of Ireland.

There will be a full programme of events in Ballinasloe Showgrounds each day from 9am, including three Grand Prix events: the Connaught Grand Prix on Friday; the National Grand Prix League on Saturday; and the New Heights Championship on Sunday.

This is a rare opportunity to see the finest Irish and international show jumping horses and riders in action for free.

Gates open at 8am each day and the first event starts at 9am sharp. Entrance is free for spectators and there is also free parking. Food, refreshments, and full bar will be available throughout. Equestrian stallholders are welcome.
