Féile Ceoil na Scoileanna at Dean Crowe Theatre

Féile Ceoil na Scoileanna will run in the Dean Crowe Theatre from Monday, March 27, until Thursday, March 30, this year.

The aim of the Féile Ceoil na Scoileanna, which is a non-competitive festival, is to promote Irish music, song, and dance while embracing the many other cultures and traditions that are now an integral part of Irish schools. The Féile Ceoil enables schools to share in and enjoy the performances of other groups, free from the stress of competition.

On Monday evening, the Féile will be officially opened by Petrova Mulvey, an award-winning performer and member of Athlone Musical Society for 10 years. She has also performed internationally with local choir, Anam, and as a soloist in numerous recitals and concerts. Ms Mulvey is an IVA certified vocal coach and the owner of The Athlone School of Singing.

Performances commence on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings at 7pm. There will be two matinées held on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 28 and 29, starting at 10am each morning.

Head on down to the Dean Crowe Theatre and enjoy the variety of musical entertainment on offer from March 27 to 30. It will not disappoint.
