Stop by The Snug for a tipple this St Patrick’s weekend

The Snug has a great line-up of entertainment to keep you rocking throughout St Patrick’s weekend.

The session starts on Thursday, March 16, with No Bodder taking to the stage from 10pm. Alternatively, choose to unwind in the beer garden while listening to tunes from a live DJ, also from 10pm.

St Patrick’s Day offers a feast of sporting coverage. Catch it all at The Snug. Ballyea take on Cuala from 3pm, while live coverage of Dr Crokes versus Slaughtneil will be shown from 5pm. Stick around for live traditional music from 7pm, with Snug favourites Double D taking to the stage later from 10pm.

On Saturday, March 18, Premier League action returns as West Brom welcome Arsenal to the Hawthorns from 12.30pm.

Catch Six Nations coverage of Ireland versus England from 5pm. Ireland’s hopes of a title in this tournament evaporated with last weekend’s defeat to Wales, but a clash against the old enemy never fails to throw up some talking points and a hell of a game of rugby. Stick around after to catch live music from Snug regulars Ruby Dukes from 10pm. Again, a DJ will be on offer in the beer garden, also from 10pm.

Sports coverage continues on Sunday, March 19, as Spurs meet Southampton from 2.15pm. Then its the big one as top four chasing rivals collide in the game of the weekend - Pep’s Manchester City face Klopp’s Liverpool from 4.30pm. The weekend’s entertainment will be rounded off with music from Brian Mc Cormack and Toxic Twins at 7pm and 9pm respectively.
