For the month of February, The Prince Bar has a truly fantastic line-up of entertainment on offer to suit every taste.
With Valentine’s Day up coming up why not treat yourself to a delightful weekend and head to The Prince to check out their great choice of bands, starting off with local band Dollar Daly on Friday, February 10.
On Saturday, February 11, the highly sought-after Rod and Billy, from Aslan, perform as a duo act.
We all get midweek blues - thinking of the weekend ahead and waiting to have a night off to have some fun. Why wait? The Prince Bar holds an open mic night every Wednesday from 10.30pm. This is always an entertaining night for everyone who attends. Get up and sing your heart out and enjoy complimentary drinks for taking part, or choose to bask in the sound of others. Either way it’s a relaxing and fun way to spend your night.
On Friday, February 17, it is the turn of local band Raincheck, playing their unique style of music with a mixture of old-school and popular songs to suit every taste.
Too tired after work on a Friday? No worries - The Prince Bar has Stereobytes playing on Saturday, February 18. Join the trio for a night of rock, reggae, pop, and country music. With a range of styles like this you are ensured a very entertaining night. Stereobytes have played at many venues, festivals, weddings, and parties and know how to put on a great show.
Enjoy traditional Irish ballads? Boithrin play The Prince on Friday, February 24. This will be a night that sticks in the memory for all the right reasons. Boithrin’s distinctive mix of rhythm-driven instrumentation and melodic vox harmonies creates an authentic take on Irish ballads and is sure to get both young and old off their feet for a whopper of a time.
If you’re looking for something more modern, UV5 is performing on Saturday, February 25. This gold standard Irish band, from Cork, delivers high energy shows and a great set of music that will certainly get you off your seat and onto the dance floor; so do not forget your dancing shoes!
