Live music and Six Nations coverage at The Snug

With a host of live music and sports action on offer this weekend, The Snug Bar is the ideal location to kick back and unwind after a hard week.

The weekend’s entertainment kicks off on Thursday, February 2, with Brian Mc Cormack taking to the stage from 9pm.

On Friday, February 3, it is the turn of Shane and Jay to provide the live music, starting from 10pm.

Hold onto your hats, because Saturday brings a feast of sports coverage to keep you on your toes for the entire day. It begins with Premier League action as high-flying Chelsea welcome fellow top four contenders Arsenal to Stamford Bridge from 12.30pm.

Six Nations rugby joyfully returns to our screens on Saturday, with Joe Schmidt’s men coming up against Scotland in their opening game. Catch live coverage of the game at The Snug from 2.25pm. Stick around to see if the old enemy and last year’s victors England can overcome mighty France in their opening game, with coverage from 4pm. Music on Saturday night will be provided by The Afters, making their Snug debut from 10pm.

Six Nations coverage continues on Sunday, February 5, when Italy come up against Wales from 2pm. Premier League action continues on Sunday when last year’s champions Leicester City face Mourinho’s Manchester United, who will be desperate for all three points to keep pace with the top four. Coverage starts from 4pm. Adrian Hyney and No Bodder will provide music on Sunday night at 7pm and 9pm respectively.

With two beer gardens, live music and sport, and a wide range of premium gins and Irish whiskeys, The Snug Bar is the ideal venue to relax and have a good time this weekend. A free function area is also available for private party bookings.
