It’s all about the music this December

There are some fantastic music performances taking place at Roscommon Arts Centre before their winter programme draws to a close.

On Saturday, December 3 at 5pm there will be a very special performance by the Roscommon County Youth Orchestra and Moate Community School Orchestra entitled Irishmen and Irishwomen. The performance comprises an orchestral suite composed by Vincent Kennedy who will also be conducting the orchestra on the day.

On Thursday, December 8, the ever-popular Sean Keane returns to the arts centre with his new show Christmas by the Hearth. Sean will be joined on the night by Fergus Feely, Pat Coyne, Stephen Doherty, and David Doocey.

The Christmas spirit continues on Thursday, December 15 as Isla Grant takes to the stage with her Country Christmas Concert. The show will be jam-packed with Christmas songs and hymns and Isla’s husband Al Grant will join her on the night.

Abba Forever are on hand on Saturday, December 17 to get the party season in full swing with their hugely popular night of song and dance.
