Reflection and revelation link Little Theatre one-acts

Two one-act plays, War Stories by Emma Gibson and Rob Johnston and The Chip Van Plays Dixie by Robert Iles will be staged nightly at 8pm from October 22-28 at Athlone Little Theatre, St Mary’s Place, Athlone.

The two plays, which are linked by their themes of reflection and revelation, will give audiences the chance to both laugh and cry as secrets and chance connections are revealed.

War Stories charts the emotional journey of a soldier struggling to regain his memory with the help of an Australian nurse, who has her own secrets, and is set in a French hospital during 1916.

In contrast, The Chip Van Plays Dixie is a bittersweet comedy where two strangers meet and discover they have more in common than they imagined - including a love of chips!

Immerse yourself in two different worlds this autumn through these one-act gems, brought to you by experienced directors Paddy Martin and Oliver Hegarty.
