World Cup qualifiers and live music at The Snug this weekend

All of you soccer fanatics out there are in for a treat as World Cup qualifiers kick off this week, with live coverage of several big games on offer at The Snug Bar.

It all gets underway today, October 6, as Martin O'Neil's men take on tournament minnows Georgia from 7.45pm. Can Ireland take the fine form they displayed in the recent European Championships and translate it into World Cup qualification? The journey begins tonight, and only time will tell. Take 2 will provide the live entertainment after the game from 9.30pm.

On Friday, October 7, it is the turn of France versus Bulgaria from 7.45pm. Didier Dechamps's men are very much wounded animals after losing the Euro final in front of their home crowd to Portugal this summer, so Bulgaria may have a task on their hands in this one and we could be treated to a few goals. Snug favourites Toxic Twins will take to the stage from 10pm.

On Saturday, October 8, there will be live coverage of Northern Ireland versus San Marino from 7.45pm, while Joachim Löw's impressive German side come up against the Czech Republic, also from 7.45pm. The Easy Singles will provide the entertainment from 10pm and there will also be a DJ in the beer garden, also from 10pm.

The Green Army return to our screens on Sunday, October 9, from 7.45pm when they take on Maldova. And the weekend's line-up of entertainment will be rounded off by music from Double D at 9.30pm.

With two beer gardens, tons of live music and sport and a fantastic atmosphere, The Snug Bar is the perfect party venue and an ideal place to unwind this weekend.
