Council launches latest Roundabout Advertisement Scheme

Westmeath County Council are to begin the process of implementing the latest Roundabout Advertisement Scheme covering 20 selected roundabouts across the county.

The council are seeking to partner with individuals, businesses, or organisations who wish to benefit from advertisement opportunities on these roundabouts, eight of which are in the Athlone area. Successful applicants will be permitted to have their signs erected on their chosen roundabout(s ) for a 12-month period commencing in January 2017. There will be a limit of one advertiser per roundabout, which will ensure exclusivity.

The eight sites in the Athlone area are located at Creggan, Clonbrusk, Cornamaddy, Arcadia, Altown, Wash House Turn, Garrycastle, and Willow Park, with an additional site at Clara Road, Moate. All the remaining sites are in the east of the county, with ten in Mullingar, and one in Kinnegad.
