Summer vibes still rocking The Snug Bar

The summer vibe continues in The Snug throughout the month of August - whatever the weather outside, inside The Snug the action's always hot!

Make the bank holiday week last longer by heading in to listen to Shane O'Grady on Thursday 4, at 9.30pm. Shane is a gifted pop/rock singer and guitarist who lists his influences as Robbie Williams, U2, The Killers, The Script, Justin Bieber, The Coronas, and Aslan.

If you can't make it til Friday, then you'll catch Sligo duo Crossroads, who get the music rocking from 10pm.

Crossroads brings together two musicians with many years of combined professional music experience between them. Liam and Gerry have played with top acts such as Stockton's Wing, Kim Newport Band, Jargon, Magic Band and Ray Lynam Band.

With a broad musical background, their set list includes everything from 50s rock 'n' roll to country, pop, classic rock, blues, and everything in between.

Sport takes centre stage on Saturday, August 6, with Tyrone v Mayo at 4pm, followed at 6pm by Dublin v Donegal in the two senior football quarter-final clashes. Hang around til 10pm to catch Take 2.

More GAA action on the big screen starts the entertainment on Sunday, when Kilkenny take on Waterford at 3.30pm in their senior hurling championship semi-final match.

Double D are the first music act on Sunday night, taking the early 7pm slot. Double D are Brian Dimick on guitar, bass, harmonica and lead vocals, and Jim Domin, on guitar, keys and back-up vocals. Playing music from B.B. King to ZZ Top, their repertoire is A1!

Imposter take over at 9pm to round off the weekend, before it all starts again next Thursday night...
