The Crooked Jacks will provide the live entertainment at The Snug Bar this Sunday night.
Taking to the stage from 9.30pm, The Crooked Jacks are a well-established ballad/folk group from the Midlands who have played in top venues in London, New York, and Amsterdam. Since coming together in 2011, the band have gone from strength to strength, blending their own unique individual talents as musicians and singers into a group that are bound to be one of Ireland’s next big folk/ballad groups.
The Dubliners, Dublin City Ramblers, The Pogues, Mumford and Sons, and The Clancys are listed among Crooked Jacks’ musical inspirations. Crooked Jacks always deliver a very upbeat and varied performance that never fails to hit the spot. Now the band are writing and performing some material of their own, as well as performing covers of household favourites. The tunes in their live set are always sure to be crowd pleasers.
