Delphi Adventure Resort, Leenane, Connemara, has officially undergone a rebrand to become Delphi Resort.
The new brand helps encompass all of the offerings at the resort including the four-star hotel, adventure hub, spa, dining options, the Wild Atlantic Hostel, the yoga and wellness studio, the business centre and Aasleagh Lodge, the welcome addition to the portfolio in 2015 and a major step forward in Delphi Resort’s mission to be one of Europe’s leading adventure resorts.
Wanting to add to the craftsmanship of the existing building and developing resort, Delphi Resort enlisted the expertise of Laura Ashley’s interior designer, Emily Hooks, for a series of bedroom refurbishments at the end of 2015.
With a stunning backdrop to begin with, Emily incorporated a blend of silks, velvets, and linen to create warm, intimate furnishings to the bedrooms, connecting patterns and colours with the Irish landscape. Reflecting the surrounding area, a unique wallpaper named Connemara was used to create a feature wall in some of the bedrooms, combining warm tones with a mellow Celtic edge.
Forty bedrooms were included in the refurbishment, adding to the already luxurious bedrooms which include contemporary bathrooms, many with whirlpool baths and separate power showers.
Another recent development was in Delphi Spa, which grew in size at the end of 2015 with the addition of three new treatment rooms and an expansion of the already stunning relaxation area. The spa sources all of its water directly from the resort’s fresh mountain springs and celebrated the expansion by this month welcoming luxury skin care brand Pevonia, the five-star deluxe natural product line.
The spa now holds five treatment rooms, three seaweed bathrooms, and a lavish thermal suite which includes a steam room, sauna, and a hydrotherapy pool, all overlooking the stunning Mweelrea Mountains through its floor-to-ceiling windows.
