Football, soccer, and singing at The Snug Bar this weekend

Book your seat at the bar this weekend to catch the best of the soccer and GAA action, and celebrate or commiserate afterwards to the sound of the top local bands.

On Friday, January 29 see FA cup action as Derby County play Man United from 8pm, then stay around for Dave and Eric - drums and guitar duo Toxic Twins - at 10pm.

Then on Saturday 30 it's Liverpool v West Ham with a 5.30pm kick-off, followed by GAA action when All-Ireland champions Dublin begin their national league defence against Kerry at Croke Park at 7pm. Small Deal, aka Dermot and Nigel, will round off the evening with the music at 10pm.

Head back into The Snug Bar on Sunday to watch the AFL Cork v Mayo match at 2pm, and then change colours to see how the Milton Keynes Dons fare against big guns Chelsea in the FA Cup fourth-round tie at 4pm. If the excitement hasn't gotten too much for you by 9pm, then stay around for Imposter at 9pm. Covering The Black Crowes to The Black Keys, Gorillaz to The Killers and everything in between, this great energy band has over 50 years gigging experience! Imposter knows what it takes to have a great time, bringing intricate three-part harmonies that come as easily as stomping on the distortion pedal.

The Snug Bar have a free function area available for booking. Call (090 ) 6490971 for more information.
